We recently enjoyed a two-night stay in the deluxe suite, on the top floor of this charming country hotel. From wonderful dining experiences to moments of pure relaxation, our time at Forest Park was nothing short of perfect.

Forest Park Country Hotel enjoys a prime location within the picturesque surroundings of New Forest—a haven of ancient woodlands and sprawling heathlands. Situated in a peaceful location, the hotel provides a perfect retreat for those seeking respite from urban life. The hotel’s location allows you to park up the car and not worry about driving again for the duration of your stay, you can just get your hiking boots on and walk (or ride a bike) from the doorstep.
Food: Culinary Pleasures
One of the highlights of our stay was undoubtedly the delicious food and cocktails at Forest Park Country Hotel. The menu boasts a selection of locally sourced ingredients, expertly prepared to showcase the flavours of the region. Breakfast is a combination of continental in a buffet style and cooked, brought to the table. The one thing we weren’t keen on, was being asked to book a time slot for breakfast each morning we were staying as we checked into the hotel, it felt a little regimented, and didn’t seem to reflect in the mornings, as it was still fairly unorganised. That being said, we could not fault the service. The highlight of our stay though, were the evening meals. Each dish was thoughtfully crafted and served with care and we ate some unique dishes that we still talk about now. While the cocktails were delicious and certainly added a touch of sophistication to the dining experience, it was the simplicity and quality of the food that truly impressed.
